Britcar GT - Brands hatch

In the quest to get racing miles uner their belts, Colin and Sam entered the opening round of the Britcar GT Championship at Brands this last weekend.
It would prove to be a good test for the X-Bow where it completed a 30 min qualifying race, 15 minute warm up and then the full 150 minutes of racing without any hiccups.
With no greater expectations than completeing the race as Sam was still not at 100% fitness, the father and son team were absolutely delighted to finish 10th out of the 12 classified finishers but more importantly to come away with a win in the Class 3 Invitation category.
Still running on full adrenalin, the Manxman said after the race " B _ _ _ _y loved it. Not quick enough yet but that will come"
Next official outing will be the official GT Cup test days at Snetterton later this week
