BRITISH GT Media day - Silverstone

28th March 2010

This was the first time that 98% of all the cars entered for the series were assembled at the same place and time with 23 cars present. From a G4 class perspective, only the Nissan did not appear. The main protagonists comprising Ginetta and Lotus were all running.

Rory Butcher did all the driving as Benjamin was unable to attend through work commitments but nonetheless kept in touch through the TSL live timing site.

In spite of not having driven the Silverstone GP circuit previously, Rory immediately dropped into the low 2.04s and he further whittled away at this as we made small changes to the set up to suit the track conditions.

The prestigecarleasing.co.uk KTM X-Bow ran faultlessly throughout the day and we ended the day fastest in the G4 category which gives us a lot encouragement for the opening round at Oulton Park over the Eaaster weekend.
